Qualifications:

  • Experience administrating and maintaining all Windows Desktop and Server Environments, Microsoft Exchange and various Unix mail servers, Apple MacOS 7-10.7, MacOSX Server 10.2-10.7, OpenBSD, FreeBSD, OpenSolaris, and Linux server and desktop environments
  • Administrator-level knowledge of Active Directory structure, implementation, and maintenance, including planning and disaster recovery
  • Knowledge of networking protocols and configuration, including TCP/UDP communications, VPN, and BGP configurations
  • Experience with various web technologies, including LAMP, XML, and HTML/CSS
  • Knowledge of networking systems (both software and hardware sides), as well as configuring connectivity between operating systems and segmentation of discrete environments
  • Expansive hardware experience including x86 and Apple, both server/workstation and mobile varieties
  • Have provided patient and concise phone and email support experience to a wide variety of users for many different software packages and environments
  • Have implemented and documented several trouble ticket systems, including RT3 and Spiceworks
  • Able to comprehensively (and coherently) document operating procedures
  • Able to quickly learn and support new systems and software packages
  • Well organized - able to balance and dedicate time to separate tasks efficiently
